• I have a page with numerous amount of content on it.
I can save certain amount of content on the page.
If I exceed the amount It shows error.
    Not saving.
Do WordPress have restriction of characters/words of content to put as content in a single page?

  • WordPress has no such limitation but your hosts might. Have you spoken to them about this?

    Not Yet.
    I’m using godaddy.
godaddy might have some mod_rewrite or htaccess issue, right?

Do you have any idea why this can happen?
In the meantime I’ll talk with them.

    Thanks a lot.

My guess is that they are limiting the POST size via the server’s configuration (that’s POST as in a server setting – nothing directly to do with WordPress posts).

How big is this? I have a fellow I’m working with who has a ginormous table that overruns the PHP memory buffer every time he saves the page. Yeah, the page content is that big.

    Lol. ??
    No I don’t think it’s that much big. @ipstenu

    It’s 1317 lines in sublime.
    215177 Characters in total.

I can approximately 1/3rd of it.
    Any specific solution?

    P. S. : I just migrated the site’s content from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com via the xml import file with images.
In fact I migrated the entire site and pointed the domain to godaddy’s host.

    Thanks.
