Can't "Save & Publish" when customizing Widgets

  • Hi, I have been editing widgets within the sidebar and main content areas of a page through the Customize>Widgets function within ‘Appearance’. However when I click the “Save & Publish” button, nothing happens, and my changes are never saved.

    Can anyone help explain why I am not able to save my changes to the widgets?
