    Hi,
I’ve recently updated to the new version of wp recipe maker and it stopped working. I try to enter recipes by importing them from a text.

I can add the text then select and fill all the fields in the Import tab but when I hit Use this values the plugin just freezes. In the right bottom corner I can see the little loading circle spinning but nothing happens even after minutes.

If I click outside of the wp recipe windows the import tab disappears but no values are visible in the Creating new Recipe window. If I enter values there manually as I’ve tried with only the Description and hit save the whole thing freezes and I have to refresh the page to get back to the post.

Any idea what could be the problem? Is there a way to reverse the update or are there any old versions available somewhere?

    Thanks!

Are you using the latest 5.0.4 version of the plugin? Any firewall (like CloudFlare) in place that might be blocking things?

It would be very helpful if you could check for any specific errors in the JavaScript console:

Testing in a different browser wouldn’t hurt either.

Older versions of the plugin are available at the bottom of this page but that’s not a great long-term solution:

Me too! It’s very frustrating because I go through the whole process of inputting the recipe, and get a message: something went wrong please contact support. This is after it automatically upgraded the version of the plug in. I can’t update my blog till this is fixed so I need a fix fast possible.

The problem has been solved. I leave here the solution for those who may wandering across it:
The main issue was that the site which is a main domain on a shared hosting was installed into a subfolder in the public_html. Once the site was moved back to the main public_html folder and the .htacess file issues with the various redirects solved everything went back to normal.

Thanks for Brecht the immense amount of patience and world class customer service!
