    Hi,

When I try change some settings in email tab section (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_options&tab=email) I obtain a not found page and the settings not save. Do you have a idea to help me with this problem?

    Hi @karinesabattier,

It looks like a conflict with your theme or one of your plugins.
Please try to do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if this issue goes away. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

Please also make sure that you have at least PHP 5.6 on your server.

    Regards.

    Hi UM Support,

I did all the Conflict Test from your link. I installed and switched to Twenty Fifteen theme also tried Twenty Seventeen to ensure no other theme customization could affect UM plugin. I disabled all other plugins except UM. Lastly, checked that the PHP 5.6 is currently used by the server.

But nothing happened. When you click Save Changes, it still said that “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_options&tab=email&email=checkmail_email”

OOPS! THAT PAGE CAN’T BE FOUND.

And when you refresh the same page, it will get you back to the settings.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

I found the answer. The main issue is with your host company server. My hosting company helped solve the issue by doing something he called whitelisting. so i guess you can just ask them to check the error log and whitelist.
It was done in a minute. i know this is not technical, but hey, just give them the “Codeword”

Hey, I had the same issue. And everything is resolved once I contact my hosting provider.

It appears that the error was triggered by a mod_security rule on our server.

ModSecurity is an Apache module which works as a web application firewall. It blocks known exploits and provides protection from a range of attacks against web applications. Sometimes its rules are being triggered false positively by plugins or theme scripts.

Check with your hosting provider and they will fix it for you. Thank you @ascent09
