Hey @renricker7,
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having trouble saving the plugin’s settings! From what I see, prior to writing this review, you have not opened a support ticket with us, which is a shame, as we always try our best to help our users fix any issues they may have.
Also, I have just checked our support channel and it looks like we don’t have any other reports about this particular issue from our users. Considering this, I believe the issue might be localized to your website.
To make sure the settings are saved, please check the following:
- Make sure that you don’t have any errors when submitting the settings form. If the form submit has errors, they will be shown at the top of the page. Errors will prevent the settings from being saved. As the WordPress admin panel can be congested with notifications, any errors could get overlooked.
- If you have any caching plugin or caching system from your hosting provider active, please deactivate it temporarily to make sure caching isn’t the culprit. Usually, if caching is active for the admin area, settings may not get saved.
- If the above two points are met, I recommend deactivating all other active plugins and try to save the SliceWP settings again. I know this can be tedious, however, compatibility issues can appear between WordPress plugins. We do our best to test SliceWP with the most used plugins, however, as there are over 50.000 plugins available, having compatibility with all of them is a monumental task.
If none of these points are helpful, please open a support ticket here: https://slicewp.com/contact/
Furthermore, for anyone reading this reply, our mission is to help all of our users. If you have any issues or questions about SliceWP, make sure to open a support ticket with us and we’ll do our best to help you out.
