Can’t search plug-ins and themes

  • Hi all
    I tried to fix this for hours now, going through all the tricks that are suggested for exactly this issue but it remains.
    When I click “add new” plug in I get following error message
    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration
    I can still install plug-ins manually but I’d really like to fix this issue.
    Any ideas?

    Have you reached out to your hosting company about this? It almost sounds like it could be a firewall preventing the connection.

    It’s not unlikely, that it’s a firewall problem.
    I did spend a couple of hours or more with the support line, but they work relatively slow and it hasn’t helped much yet.
    I tried to update everything now…reinstalling everything and hopefully I can make it work sooner or later
