• Hi Guys, I’m here again with another problem.
In this site https://iam.com.br/iam/ I can’t do anything… including enter in the profile.php or users.php page. It returns me that I don’t have privileges to do it…
I’ve tried everything… rename the plugins and theme folders.
    Nothing happened.
When I log in the site… returns these errors:

Warning: fopen() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/storage/f/d6/8a/iam3/public_html/iam/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4568

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/storage/f/d6/8a/iam3/public_html/iam/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4571

  • Hello Marigp,

Sorry for the problem with the fopen error. It does appear that something has it disabled. You may want to double-check with your host about the option being disabled. In reviewing the issue as reported by others, one of the most recent posts (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-on-activation-52/) indicates that the issue is a plugin. Try manually disabling your plugins (rename the plugins folder) and then see if anything retnurns to normal operation.

The “allow_url_fopen” option can also typically be found in your PHP.INI file. Make sure that it set to on (value 1 = on).

    I hope that helps!

    Regards,
    Arnel C.

    Hi Arnel!
I’ve tried to disable every plugin, and one in particular cause the fopen error ??
But… this solve just the fopen problem.
The first problem I have is that I can’t see anything in the dashboard :/
Do you know anything about this problem? I’ve tried ask in the brazilian forum, but anybody knows.

    Regards,
    Marianne

    Hi guys,

Marianne, do not do plugin disabling such things.

Solution is just change the theme you are using. Then change to original theme.

You’ll see it will work. It at least worked for me.
