Can’t see any tables in list when creating chart

    Hi there

    I’ve just installed and am using wpDataTables for the first time.

    I can create a table ok. I see it listed ok in the tables list.
    But then when I go to ‘Create a ‘Chart’, I give it a name, select Google Charts as the render engine and then I get a drop down where I can pick the data table as the source. But the data table dropdown is EMPTY!. If I go back to the ‘wpDataTables’ list it is still listed there ok.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I’ve inspected the page and there are no errors showing.

    Sorry for the inconvenience,

    We suppose that you create a Simple table and at the moment it is not possible to create charts with this type of table. You can check more about simple table on this link

    At the moment you need to use the second option for creating tables in table wizard “Create a data table linked to an existing data source.” and from those data tables, you will be able to create charts.

    Until we implement this feature we will insert some Notice messages in the next update about this so users will not be confused about this.
