Cant see "Download" button

    I have installed “EDD” and “Easy Digital Downloads Free Link” plugins.

    I have followed below steps to create a d/l product which happens to be a pdf file.

    1. Added New Downloads with title “Adv App” and “Download Files” meta box, I have given file name “ADV APP” and in URL I have inserted the URL copied after uploading the pdf in Media File.

    2. I created a New Page and inserted a shortcode generated by EDD by clicking “INSERT DOWNLOAD” button next to Add Media button above editor. (I made sure I am on Text tab and not on Visual Tab while inserting the shortcode).

    Now when I am viewing the page, it shows “Checkout” link instead of “Download” button (which is seen on your website). Clicking this Checkout button takes to checkout page of EDD.

    Where am I doing wrong.

    G’day Tejas,

    Some conditions for the Download to be direct download:

    • free — must not have a price (i.e. should be $0.00)
    • only one file — multiple files for Download forces add to cart
    • file field is not empty

    Can you check that your Download meets all of those conditions please?
