I’ve made some progress but still can’t get the options to show in PayPal, having created a menu in the form template and put in my six products. In this guide, https://wpplugin.org/documentation/?document=2823, (the screens are all very different from what I am seeing), on STEP 4 it says paste the menu name code e.g. menu-135 into the price code box. When I click the Paypal settings tab all I can see are three field boxes, namely ITEM DESCRIPTION, ITEM PRICE and ITEM I.D. and not the screen on STEP 4.
So, as a customer, when using the form at present, you can select the item you want but when you click submit and go through to the first PayPal screen the item and price fields are left black for the customer to fill in.
    I’m using WP 4.2.3
    I’m using Contact Form 7 Version 4.2.2
I’m using PayPal Add on Version 1.3
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi ckg66,

    1. The Contact Form 7 PayPal addon and pro version is only designed to sell one product at a time.

    2. The documentation you are seeing is for the pro version.

    3. Using the documentation for the pro version and the pro version it may possible to create item variations. But ideally you need will need to make different pages on your site, each with a different contact form to have different products.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott
Thanks for your reply. People will only buy one product at a time – the product being a room in a hotel, so they might choose a single or a double.
The example you give in your docs seems to show that you might be able to choose one item (from a drop down menu) and the quantity of that one item (from a second drop down menu). So someone might want to select two double rooms. Is that set up possible in the free version or the pro version?
    Thanks

    Hi Ken,

Yes, in the pro version of the plugin you can have one dropdown menu linked as the item and another dropdown linked to an option.

It would besically be these two tutorials put together into one form:
    https://wpplugin.org/documentation/?document=3356
    https://wpplugin.org/documentation/?document=2848

If you want to give it a try and see if it works, and then if not I will be happy to issue you a refund.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I’m bummed the Price Code field only allows one product/field. It would be nice if I could put multiple fields (separated by a comma) in the Price Code field and the total calculated $ amount is carried over to PayPal.

    Here’s my example:

    UNDER THE FORM TAB

    Product/Field 1)
    [select* reservations include_blank “$45 per person|45” “$85 per couple|85”]

    Product/Field 2)
    [select* raffle include_blank “1 at $5 each|5” “2 at $5 each|10” “3 at $5 each|15” “5 for $20|20”]

    THEN, UNDER THE PAYPAL TAB

    Price Code:
    reservations, raffle

    Thanks!

    Hi Venessa,

I’m sorry that this is currently not a feature. This is on my to-do list and I hope to be able to add it shortly.

If you have any other problems or questions just let me know.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,

I had sent you an email regarding this but I found this string. I’ve tried doing what you suggested but I cannot get it to work.

I’m using a radio button to the price and drop down for qty. But when I’m redirected to paypal, it’s only showing the one amount in the radio.

    How Many Tickets? ($5 ea.) ‘[select* menu-606 “1” “2”]’
    How Many Tickets? ($200 ea.) ‘[radio* radio-478 “$5.00|5.00” “$10.00|10.00”]’

I have menu-606 listed in Quantity Code with Item Price of 200.00. Then radio-478 listed in Price Code.

    Corey
