• Hello,
Everything was working fine, when i noticed that my sidebar has been locked.
I accessed your forums and checed allow sidebars to be replaced but nothing happened.
I can’t seem to find the problem checked the console and no errors.
On the page dashboard i only see sidebar pages option but when i installed all was showing properly.
Can you just help as i have more than 300 sidebars and i dont want to mess around as it will waste my lots of time.
    Thanks a lot.
    Hope for your reply soon.

I am using ausart theme, when i enable wp-config to true it gave me this error for sidebar thing:

Notice: register_sidebar was called incorrectly. No id was set in the arguments array for the “Footer – column2” sidebar. Defaulting to “sidebar-9”. Manually set the id to “sidebar-9” to silence this notice and keep existing sidebar content. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 4.2.0.)

    Hey there vir24,

    Hope you’re well today!

This is most likely just conflict with a theme/plugin. However, since you have that many plugins before doing anything please make sure to make a full backup and then start troubleshooting.

Please try using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

I had the same problem. Turned out that the Yoast plugin was the problem. Turning it off, fixed it for me.
