Can't see text in Visual mode

    Ever since upgrading to 3.3.2, Visual mode for adding/editing a post is broken. I can work in HTML mode fine, but in Visual mode, the text appears invisible (white) and when you select the text it shows HTML tags.

    This problem occurs on my home computer running the latest version of Chrome and Windows 7. At work I do not have this problem, running Windows XP and the latest version of Chrome.

  • It sounds like you might be using a plugin which adds a button to the visual editor… but it is broken in some way.

    Have you installed any new plugins recently?

    Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins temporarily, and see if the issue still persists?

    I just deactivated all plugins and switched to the 2011 theme, with no success. It’s very strange that I can see them fine on my work computer and not this one – which makes me think it’s some kind of compatibility issue.

    Actually, that did work – just a few minutes for the changes to take effect. Thanks!

    I had same issue, using Chrome & the darkbasic theme. Problem started after I installed & activated Ultimate TimyMCE.

    I deactivated Ultimate TimyMCE logged out/in & problem went away. I did fiddle with the Ultimate TimyMCE setting after install so it is possible I clicked the wrong setting…
