Can't seem to remove Comments from Pages

    Hi,
    I’m not sure whether its because I’m a newbie – or whether the latest upgrade to 3.1 has caused an effect I can’t correct.

    Pages are behaving like Posts in the sense that they have ‘Leave a comment’ at the bottom. (which I w=don’t neeed)

    I have searched, and I can’t seem to find the solution – but apologies if I’ve missed it.

    I would appreciate ideas of what to change.

    go into quick edit on your pages from the admin page …
    pick a page then “quick edit” and you will see the check box for comments uncheck it

    It was really irritating me, and I had not looked at quick edit yet.
