• i am facing problem while instaling wordpress on my laptop using Wampserver . I have’checked my both wp-confif.php & wp-config-sample.php… but still i’m getting this problem.

    Can’t select database
We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the wordpress database.

    Are you sure it exists?
Does the user root have permission to use the wordpress database?
On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?
If you don’t know how to set up a database you should contact your host. If all else fails you may find help at the WordPress Support Forums.

    Try again

    Please Help me out!!

You have to create database (and database user) first.
Thats the things which are done by your hosting, when you set up WordPress using normal hosting.
WordPress does not create it for you.

If you have PhpMyAdmin with your local server, you can use it to create database and user to access it.
