    Hello everyone,

I’m running an Arch Linux LAMP stack, I have WordPress successfully installed and running on localhost, and for the most part everything is working fine, but I can’t seem to select a Site Icon or Site Logo.

The icon in question is already uploaded the site’s media library, however when I go to select it, nothing happens. The blue highlight+checkbox around the image disappears, and nothing happens. Nothing updates. If I close out of that window, Site Icon still says “Select Image”.

A similar issue happens with Site Logo. If I select an image from Site Logo, it will at least prompt me to crop the image, but when I attempt to crop it I get an error message stating “There has been an error cropping your image.”

The image in question is 512x512px, I don’t have any plugins installed or enabled, and I’m using the default twentyseventeen theme.

Does anyone know what I’m missing? I recently enabled mod_rewrite in Apache to allow permalinks to work thinking somehow that might be related, but that had no effect on this particular issue.

Here is a recording of what I’m talking about:
