Cant Select Sunday Date for Recurring Events

    I am trying to set up a recurring event for my church’s website. I click the box next to “Sunday” and when I go to publish, for some reason it isn’t reading the selection. It tells me I need to specify the day of the week I want the event to recur on. Not sure what the issue is here. This plugin was integrated in a theme I purchased, I’d like it to be operable.

    I have simular issue:
    I select a recurring event: every 1 week on Sunday for 4 weeks in a row. from 09:30 till 12:30

    When I press “publish” I get:

    “Please speficy what days of the week this event should occur on.”

    I’m sure I selected Sunday. It Works OK if I select Saturday. (Or Saturday And Sunday). In my case Monday is the first day of the week.

    I’m getting this too. Which version of Events Manager are you guys using?

    I’m having the same issue, Version 5.5.4.

    I am also getting the “Please specify what days of the week this event should occur on.” error.

    I can create recurring events on other days, but can’t move them to Sunday or create new recurring events on a Sunday. I am also unable to edit existing recurring events that are already set on a Sunday.

    As a Church this is a major problem for one of my clients!

    I’m getting this error too, for a Sunday recurring event. It’s a really big problem, and my clients are NOT happy.

    Thanks. I’ll update this thread when a fix is released.

    I found a workaround that can be used until the bug is fixed…

    Complete the recurring event information as normal, including selecting Sunday as the day. Click Publish (you’ll see the error message).

    Then go to Events > Recurring Events and click on Drafts. You should see the new event listed. Click on the Quick Edit link and change the status to Published to publish the event.

    The quick edit workaround doesn’t work for me.

    Unfortunately, I discovered the same situation – the workaround doesn’t stick.

    The Dev team are working on this at the moment, so a fix shouldn’t be too far away.

    @devinyoga you can roll back to 5.5.3.1 until a fix is ready – look in the Developers tab.

    Same issue,
    Can’t roll back cause I just installed the plugin for the first time.
    Would be great to get a fix!
