Can’t send booking form because required field SPACES is not filled

    Hello,

    Recently my visitors can’t send booking forms on my site. When trying to send the form, a message states that one required field is missing : SPACES. What is this field? It’s not a visible or hidden part of the form as far as I can see.

    I don’t see anything wrong at first sight here. Can it be that you have some custom filter?
    Or can you share the code/format of your rsvp template used?

    Edit: can it be you’re using #REQ_SPACES? Try changing it to #REQ_SEATS to resolve it temporary. I think I forgot that SPACES can still be used …

    Yes! The site was indeed using #REQ_SPACES (it was set up by someone else).

    Thanks so much for spotting that! Is there anything else I need to change after changing the name of this field? Probably using #_RESPSEATS instead of #_RESPSPACES in e-mails sent to the site’s contact, booking confirmation, etc…?

    No, just that one change should be sufficient, the others should be working fine. I’ve already committed a code change to support #REQ_SPACES too (will be in the next release).
