    Hey, Amit

I made a custom template from the ‘my library’ in the theme options.

I then tried to use it on a specific page but it doesn’t replace the original.

Actually on that same page I set a custom header template and it does replace the original.

Any idea why I can’t use the custom footer template?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Can you link to the page where you are trying to set the custom footer template? did you set it from the oceanwp settings metabox?

    Yes, I did!

I went to pages→cart→oceanwp options→footer→ and chose my custom template made with elementor

    I linked it, Amit

On the linked page, I didn’t see the footer widget section. Does all the section are enabled? Can you share a screenshot of the oceanwp settings metabox for that page?

Ohh, that’s right. I don’t have enabled the widgets section.

Now I enabled it a it replaces the widget section and what I want is to replace the Copyright area as well.

Is that possible? I’m thinking of just hiding the original copyright with css and leave the widgets section with my custom template as the “copyright area”.

Also I think that if I hide it with css it will be hidden on all pages and that’s not what I want.

Is there another workaround within the customizer or some way to just hide on that specific page?

I fixed it, the custom template replaced the footer widgets section but not the footer copyright section. So I just deactivated the copyright section and created a new one below my widgets section.

Glad to hear that it is fixed!
