The font button for headings, body text, etc. is missing. I find no way to increase the font size for headings and sub-headings.

WP says I have the latest version, but it still looks almost the same as before; I thought the page layout was to change. Did I get a corrupt install?

  • It is probably a conflict with a plugin or possibly your theme.

Try and disable all your plugins and see if the editing returns to normal.

If no, change your theme to twentyfourteen and try again.

If it still does not work, please come back and report your results with a link to your site (plugins should still be disabled with twentyfourteen theme active)

Thanks, Jane — I just solved it. There’s this new Toolbar Toggle34 button I never noti9ced before. That opened a second toolbar line with the formatting stuff I needed.

BTW, I recently deleted the twentyfourteen theme. I’m using something else for my posts. Do I need that one?

No, you don’t need the twentyfourteen theme… and glad to hear you found your editing buttons! Don’t forget to mark this as resolved.
