• I just upgraded to 5.5.1 and now, when I tried to add a new user, there doesn’t seem to be any way to add a password for a new user? There is a button that says “Show Password” but there is to field to enter the password?

  • I have had this issue on and off over the last year. I was able to fix it by entering a password rather than using the auto-generated password. Also, I didn’t use the email as the username.
    I hope this helps!

This issue has been ongoing for well over a year, about time it got fixed please! I realise it isn’t as sexy as working on the block editor…

I just had to add about 60 new users who were newsletter subscribers, and (a) it would be nice to have been able to bulk add, and (b) I had to refresh every single one, sometimes once, mostly many times, and the most recalcitrant no less than 49 times. This is enough to make me somewhat jaundiced as to this facility.

    PLEASE WordPress elves, fix this!
