Can't set width and Height of map.

  • Anybody had problems setting the width and height of the map in settings?

    I set the width and height and when I save it just reverts back to 350px H x 100% W.

    I also paid $50 for the pro pack thinking that this would solve it but nothing.

    I have deactivated all plugins to see if there are any conflicts but none.

    If anybody can shed a bit of light on this that would be great.

  • I am also having this issue. Not able to set the width or height of the map. Also, when changing the map Icons, it always reverts to the default. Running 3.8.5 of SLP.

    Ok I have found the problem, It is definitely a problem with the latest release.

    I had another test site with version 3.7.7 and changed size with no problems, then when I updated to version 3.8.5 it failed to change and save the sizes in settings.

    By looking at the latest threads I can see that the developers are very active on here and hope they can come up with a solution very soon for this as I was hoping to show my client the final designs soon.

    just to add to this I de-activated all of my other plugins and reverted back to the twenty eleven theme and still the same.

    I have a multi-site installation. In one site the map is only about 10px wide, but I cant see any difference in the map settings.
    in both versions 3.7. and 3.8.5.

    Would be good to know if the developers are working on a fix for this issue on the latest release.

    I am seeing the same problem, and also can’t get the destination icon to stick when I make changes.

    You can fix the bug by putting this code in the General Settings> Custom CSS box (ProPack)or in your page header:
    #map_table_cell {width:645px !important;}
    #map {width:645px !important;}
    Change the width to your needs.

    Tried this but no joy unfortunately.
    emptied my cache too!

    The developer emailed me an hour ago and said he was working on a fix this weekend, so hopefully this should be sorted soon.

    I put it in two installations and it works. May be it depends also on the Theme.

    Height & width settings are fixed in 3.8.6, working on a couple of other bugs and will release it later today.

    It is public so you don’t have to like to read, but if you do like it puts me one step closer to being noted by the “Facebook Gatekeepers” as a “real business page”.

    It looks like a variant of this problem is popping up in 3.9.7. Changing the height works, but no matter what I set for width, it comes out at 100%.

    Edit: I should add that I’m on WP 3.5.1, and I don’t have the Pro pack, so I’m using the straight shortcode at this point.
