Can't show more than 5 posts per page

    Hi,

    We have just moved a wordpress site to a new hosting company. The site is setup and work the same in both locations, the only problem is on the new site only 5 posts per category are displayed. Changing the amount of posts in Options -> Reading has no effect at all. This would be fine but there inst even a “show more” or “<- older posts newer posts->” at the bottom of the page.
    I dont think there has been any customisation done, and anyway the sites are identical so if there were it should be the same on the new site too.
    Any ideas?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
