    Hi
I’m trying to use this plugin to filter posts based on custom taxonomy, but I can’t make the widget visible on the page.

Basically I found this on documentation:

The Filters Widget is used to display all filters of the Filter Set that matches a particular page. If no Filter Set is configured for the page, the widget does not display anything.

But when I go to settings of my filterset, I see that “Where to filter?” part is just available in pro version.

So does it mean that I can’t show the widget in free version?

    Thank you

    Hello @mohsenof

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything. You can filter your posts by custom taxonomy, but only on their native archive pages (on blog page or posts category etc) as Free version supports filtering Main WP_Queries. But if you want to filter them on custom Page you have to use PRO version of the plugin.

    Hello @mohsenof

You can not create native archive page as they are specific type of WordPress pages, that work “out of the box” in WordPress. They are pages, where WordPress shows posts lists/grids by default.

I use Avada theme. It gives me some pre-built sites. And when I use one of these sites, there are no such native archive pages.

    Can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Sure, I know what is Avada and its features. But to use Filter Everything on the page you provided you need the PRO version of the plugin. Free version can work on other page types only.

Hi Mohsenof, how did you resolve this? I have the same issue. I can select the widget, but nothing is showing up on archive pages.
