I have two email addresses I use to test my email sign up forms.

I double checked (twice) hat they were currently unsubscribed.

I then used both of them to complete the MailMunch forms on my website (just an email address is required).

I used incognito versions of IE and Chrome, because the forms are set to disappear after the form has been completed.

But after a long wait I had not received an email confirmation. Not even in spam.

I tried one of those test email addresses again, but again there was no effect.

I then tried a different email address and that worked fine.

The only thing the first two have in common, that I can think of, is that they have previously been subscribed to the email list.

All three accounts are from different email providers: inbox.com, gmail and hushmail. (Hushmail worked).

I have just had this plugin installed for a few days. It was working a few days ago, because I had signups.

    Please can anyone help?

    Thanks and regards,

    Neil

    Neil,

Which welcome email are you referring to? We don’t send any welcome emails. Are you referring to a welcome email that you set up with any integration (like MailChimp)?

Yes, that’s right. But I’ve been using MailChimp for some time with no problems so I assumed it was a mailmunch problem.

I hope I’m not doing you an injustice!

    So a couple of things:

    1) MailChimp handles sending the Welcome email so you’ll have to check your settings there.

    2) Make sure they were also unsubscribed in your MailChimp list so they are treated as a “new subscriber”

    Thanks.

    1) The settings are still as they should be.

    2) I originally only checked my MailChimp list. It was there that I saw they had already been unsubscribed.

But that made me realise you must also be storing email addresses. So I signed in on your website. And you do of course. The email accounts were still showing in your list. So I deleted it. Then I tried resubscribing and it works again now.

    So problem solved.

    Thanks
