Can’t switch from PayPal Checkout Plugin because of Woocommerce Subscriptions

    Vaulting isn’t available in our country Austria. And so finally PayPal Payment gateway is gone on checkout page if a for subscription product is in cart. Don#t want to hold both plugins “Checkout and Express” active. Going back to Paypal Checkout plugin and everthing is working fine again with subscriptions.

    I’m very sorry about this. Tried to switch to this new plugin for PayPal.

    thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
    I think you are confusing some things here. Vaulting is available in Austria, however, Card Processing might not be. There is also another situation that might affect you: since the last update, we are hiding the payment option for no logged-in users when they want to purchase subscriptions. This is to avoid them purchasing subscriptions since currently, we are seeing issues when they try to pay the 2nd payment of a subscription.

    We are working on getting this resolved, but to answer you: vaulting is available for Austria. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    This explains why I just lost one hour trying to figure out why Paypal didn’t appear…

    the correction of this is set to be included in the next release, but this still depends on another fix for vaulting to be included as well. Because of this, I cannot confirm that the next release will revert this change, but we have it high on our list.
