Can't Tag Events

Hello,

I am unable to add tags to events. I am not sure why. this is what I do:

1. sign into wp admin
2. click on the Events > Add New option in the left menu
3. fill in various event information
4. categorize the event
5. type in a tag name
6. click the Add button and nothing happens

Anyone else experiencing this?

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this bug?
