Can’t track affiliate orders

  • Before purchasing the pro version of YITH affiliate I’ve tested the free version and I had a problem:
    I’ve tried to create an affiliate account, shared the link, and placed an order from an external device (a potential customer).
    Then I’ve checked the affiliate dashboard and it doesn’t show any order.
    From my admin account, I’ve also searched in the page “affiliates” and it shows to me only the clicks made with that referral link that actually correspond to reality.
    It’s like the site loses track of the referral link. How can I resolve it? Without the commission and the conversion data is impossible for me to do an affiliate marketing campaign.
    The site is Sidesign3d.it and the referral link is sidesign3d.it/?ref=5 if you need to check something or inspect the pages of the site.

    we hope you’re doing well.

    Have you tried to generate the referral link with the product you wanted to buy? For example, for the https://two.wordpress.test/product/casual-shirt/ link, the referral link that has been generated for me is https://two.wordpress.test/product/casual-shirt/?ref=1.

    After having placed an order from another user with that link, the commission has been successfully created for me.

    If you have done this, could you tell us what is the status of the order you have made?

    Hi, Thanks for the response,
    It still doesn’t work, I’ve tried the product affiliate link even if it wouldn’t be practical for the affiliate to have as many affiliate links as the products.
    This time even the click data wasn’t updated.
    The status of the order is “completed”, I tried to make the payment and then, after I’ve come up with the conclusion it doesn’t work, I make the refund from Paypal.
    I’ve also tried the payment option through bank transfer.
    I hope to solve this problem to start with the affiliation program, I have all the interest to collaborate if I can do something, to have the site working fine as soon as possible.

    Please try disabling all the plugins except “WooCommerce” and “YITH WooCommerce Affiliates” and try again the two cases, that of using the shared link of affialiates and the case that my colleague mentioned and see if they work correctly or if they continue malfunctioning.

    If it works correctly, I ask you to activate plugin by plugin so that in this way we can find which plugin is causing the problem and be able to find a solution according to your environment.
