• Hi! I’m using the plugin but since one month ago the plugin it’s not tracking purchase events.

I didn’t change anything on Facebook or plugin configuration, maybe was an upgrade issue. I’ve talked with Facebook Help center and they told me that the pixel is installed and working fine (page view events and others works) but when they check the purchase event the URL that appears is “https://www.chinarodriguez.com/finalizar-compra/order-received/14833/”, which is wrong. In my “Conversions/events” page I’ve created one which I names “Compras” with this configuration:

    Name: Compras
    Trigger on: Page visit
    URL: Contains
    order-received
    Event: Purchase

Could you help me about this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I’m checking your website and I can see the Purchase event is fired correctly: https://snag.gy/8LsG19.jpg.

Anyway, if you are using WooCommerce (as I guess it is as I saw), the event is automatically sent via Pixel Caffeine only the first time, so if the event is already sent for the order you posted here, for example, you won’t see anymore.

Give a try with a new purchase.

    Thanks for your answer Antonio!

Yes, when you go to “https://www.chinarodriguez.com/finalizar-compra/order-received/14833/” the purchase event is working, because for any reason, plugin is using that url to the conversion link.

But, if you do another buy (with other order number) purchase event don’t works, because it’s taking all URL (“https;//…..148337”), not the URL that contains “/order-received/”.

If you want to check, you could use whatever data to fill out the purchase form and select “Transferencia bancaria” (use “test” on field “Nombre” so that I know are you). It has no cost to you. Then, I could remove that order.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I see. Could you please make sure that you have the “Purchase” event enabled on General Settings of the plugin? Here a screenshot: https://snag.gy/b3BhuE.jpg

    Hi Antonio!

Yes, Purchase event is enabled. Recently, I removed the Purchase event of my Pixel Caffeine settings and re-added it, but it is still not working. It is still taking the URL “https://www.chinarodriguez.com/finalizar-compra/order-received/14833/” instead URL that contains “order-received”.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

do you have any plugin that customizes the thank you page of WooCommerce? or do you know if you have any custom code that operated on the thank you page? what theme are you using?

Hi Antonio! I’m sorry about the delay of my answer.

I’ve not plugins that customizes the thank you page of WooCommerce. Neither custom code operating on that page.

    I’m using DIVI theme.

I’m using WP Super Cache. Maybe something related with catching?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I’m sorry about the delay of my answer!

Yes, the cache may cause some problem. It shouldn’t, but each plugin cache operate in different ways, so maybe it can be the cause.

Could you please try deactivating the cache temporarily and try to make a new purchase, checking the pixel?

    Thanks.
