can’t translate “1 comment” and “join conversation”

All our theme strings are translatable. What happens when you switch themes? Maybe its an issue with the translation themselves.

If I switch to a different theme (Twenty Fifteen, for example) the translation is correct.

THe only phrases I see in english instead of italian are related to the comment area:

start conversation
1 comment
%1$s comments
join conversation

etc

Maybe it’s just the strings that aren’t translated, all these strings are using the proper functions for translating:
