I translated the seasonal.pot language file in italian, but some of the lines were not successfully translated on front-end: “Posted on”, “Author” and “Categories:”, although I put the italian translation I still see the english ones on the website. How can I resolve this? Thanks in any case.

…I’m not sure what to suggest. I actually created a test en_CA.po file and did translations on the items you listed and was able to get them translated. The language strings used in the theme were done correctly, so you might want to try once again. What are you using for your translation?

    I used PoEdit.

PoEdit too. The lines are there, but the site doesn’t recognize them… How do I find the language strings in the templage?

The ones you listed are in the /inc/template-tags.php file.

    Thanks. I directly edited template-tags

Hi Terry…the only problem in editing the file directly is that when there is a theme update, your changes will be lost because updates overwrite existing theme files.
