• Hi,

i’m trying to translate 2 specific sentences with loco translate but theses 2 ones do not want to update.

    here it is :

Loco translate screen (every other translation for the plugin works totally fine) : https://www.screencast.com/t/PpuLeW69Nvag

But on page here is the result : https://leavesandclouds.fr/wishlist/

And same for the string “IN STOCK” it’s translated, synchronized too. but won’t update in French.

i’ve tried to move the translation files too, but no success here.

Any help would be welcomed ??
    Thx a lot

    Hi there

this is really strange; I just tested on my local installation, and I can see that both strings can be translated, using default translation provided within the plugin (I tested with italian language)

    Screen 1
    Screen 2

If the string can be translated using .po files, it should be possible to translate it using LocoTranslate
Indeed, here a quick test performed with french languange, where I tried to integrate exising translation with a new string for “No products added to the wishlist”

    Screen 1
    Screen 2

    Hi ??
Thx a lot for your quick reply !

Hum.. strange indeed. Would you please take a screenshot and show me where your files are located on the WP installation ? Maybe i’ve done something wrong here.

Do you mean my translation files?
I was expecting them to be copied under wp-content/languages/plugins, but it seems that LocoTranslate actually chnaged the original copy of the file, in plugins directory:

    wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist/langunages

Once I edited the translation with LocoTranslate, I found a backup copy of my original .po file, and an updated version of both .po and .mo in the previous directory
Anyway, I don’t know if this is always the case

Since my last test, I reset my installation to my original language, and reverted changes to my plugin copy, but I could perform a new test if you think this would help
    Just let me know
