    Hi,
I can’t turn on this plugin.

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /wp-content/plugins/wp-native-articles/includes/class-facebook-content-parser.php on line 744

    Hi Nienic,

That’s very peculiar. By not turn on do you mean in the settings? And what’s in the article content? If possible could I have a link to your site?

    Thanks

    Hi OzTheGreat,
I installed it but when I want to activate this plugin in Plugins menu I get this error.

    Hi nienic,

I think I’ve actually found the issue. Could you possibly download the latest version (1.0.5) and try again?

    Many thanks

    new issue ;(

    In RSS Feed:
    </header><br><b>Warning</b>: DOMDocument::saveHTML() expects exactly 0 parameters, 1 given in <b>/wp-content/plugins/wp-native-articles/includes/class-facebook-post.php</b> on line <b>479</b><br>

    Hey nienic,

Humm ok so this is because you’re using a very old version of PHP (5.2) although the plugin did originally work with it I think some of the new stuff I’ve added in has some compatibility problems. I’ll try and fix them but it’ll probably take a day or two. If you upgrade your PHP it’ll definitely work though (and make your site faster!!)

    Hi nienic,

Sorry for the delay. I’ve just pushed version 1.0.6 which should solve all the PHP 5.2 issues. Would you mind upgrading and just double checking that it works?

    Many thanks

    It works ??
But there are only the oldest posts. Is it possible to show only the latest?
When I choose “Only show recently modified posts in the feed.” there is an error in feed “ERROR: feed is incorrect.”

    Thanks

    Hi nienic,

Sorry for the delayed reply, I’ve only just got round to looking into this. Can I ask what WordPress version you’re using? I’m not familiar with that error and I’m not sure it exists in WP 4.7.1?

The closest error I can find is ERROR: This is not a valid feed.. This was actually a bug introduced into WordPress core in 4.7 and shows when there are no posts in the RSS feed. It should be fixed when WordPress 4.7.2 is released shortly. You an read the full about the full bug here.

    Thanks

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
