Can’t Turn Off Auto Image Cropping

  • I have portrait images that are being auto cropped – top & bottom. Here’s what I’ve done to try and fix.

    – I’ve gone to Dashboard, Settings, Media and unchecked “crop thumbnail to exact dimensions”.
    – I’ve installed the Scissors plug-in and checked adaptive mode for small, medium and large images.
    – I’ve deleted the images and reimported after each attempted fix listed above
    – I’ve emptied the browser cache

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • How long ago did you empty your browser cache? You could be pulling content from your ISP’s cache rather than the freshly updated images. It might be worth waiting for a couple of hours, emptying your cache and trying the pages again.
