Can’t turn off Maintenance Mode

    I installed the plugin set the maintenance on with a message and now that I want to see how it looks to a non-logged in user I cannot get maintenance off.

    Tried to turn off / save – nothing.

    I tried deactivating the plug in – nothing.
    I deleted the plug in. The maintenance screen still shows up.

    I just reinstalled the plug in and tried to change the message. Nothing.

    What can I do to get this maintenance screen off?
