    HI

    Great plugin

However, I try to untick both post and pages, since I only want to show related posts in a widget. But everytime I untick those, they tick again, when saved.

    Dear @bernie27,

Thank you for the topic and kind words.

I want to mention, that once you disable all the post types, the system checks and identifies that nothing is enabled, and ticks all the posts.

    See the screenshot below:

That means, in this case, all the posts will be enabled after saving.?
You need to tick at least one post.?

Please note, that to display the post in a widget, these related posts must be enabled for you.?
The reason for this is that the page where you want to display the widget will have the post/ page type. If you try to disable them, related posts will not be displayed in the widget.

    Thank you.

    Ok, thanks.

But I only need it to work with widgets.

Now displaying related posts below articles, will HAVE to show either in posts or pages?

I would like to not have them shown anywhere, ecxept for in widgets.

    Dear @bernie27,

    Thank you for your response.

For now, you can create a custom post type and leave it empty. Then, tick this custom post type checkbox for the Selected Post Types option. Untick the remaining checkboxes and save the changes. By this, they will work for only widgets.

By the way, I will open a ticket as per your request so that our Dev Team can make improvements in this regard and add a special option for this in the future.

    Thank you.

    Dear @bernie27,

    Thank you for your patience.

I am glad to inform you that we already made all the necessary improvements in this regard and added a separate option for the Widgets Settings tab in one of the latest updates of the plugin.

So, you can update the plugin to the latest version, check the feature and get back to us with an outcome.

    Thank you.
