Can’t Uninstall

    I have never activated this plugin or used it i know i should have removed it a long time ago anow an update was flagged, I decided just to remove it, but all i get is:
    Could not fully remove the plugin akismet/akismet.php.

    Any help as I tried updating it to see if I could then remove it, but nothing happens.

    Any help would be most gratefully accepted

    Hi there:

    Could you please log in to your site via FTP, and delete the existing akismet plugin files? It sounds like WordPress had a hiccup when you tried to uninstall the plugin.

    If you don’t know your FTP login, your host will have that information for you. Alternatively, your host should be able to help with this as well as they have access to your site’s files.
