• Has anyone struggled to remove the original plugin, Limit Login Attempts? I’ve tried every solution on the net…database cleanup (no apparent orphan tables), file removal (there are none to remove), and of course, chanting and cursing. Perhaps the authors of LLA Reloaded can suggest something, so I can use the new plugin…when I install the new one, I see duplicate Limit Login Attempts pages in the Dashboard, with both plugins functioning in parallel!

    Hi borcherj,

Please see if you have the LLA plugin installed in the wp-content/mu-plugins folder. Removing it from there should fix the issue.

Thank you for your help. It’s true, and you might like to know that with GoDaddy’s Manage WordPress sites, access to mu-plugins is “read only” for users like us. And they refused to remove the old plugin files! Stuck with something ancient, I guess.
