I’m using WP 6.4.3 with Unicom theme and PHP 8.0. I’m troubleshooting an issue and I want to disable the Limit Login Attempts plugin. I noticed that in the dashboard, I have two, yes two Limit Login Attempt icons that suggest I have two instances installed. When I go to installed plugins, Limit login attempts is only shows once. I’ve disabled it and uninstalled it but I still have one icon left in the dashboard, but nothing shows in the active or installed page. I saw a post that said to download the WP file manager plugin and search in MU plugins but did not see LLA listed. We looked via FTP and did not find LLAR anywhere.

Please contact your web hosting provider for assistance. It’s possible that your hosting provider moved the MU folder higher in the file directory so it’s not accessible to you from your account.

I have the same issue and can view the mu plugins folder. It is not there. Deactivating the plugin from the normal plugins folder removes one instance but I still have another instance running and appearing in the admin menu. Same as above user.
