    Hi.

I still get Wordfence Alerts on my email even if all my WordPress sites have been deleted and the domains point to other and new CMS platforms.

In this case it is nackastentryckeri.se and I get alerts to my email address.
[Wordfence Alert] Problems found on https://www.nackastentryckeri.se

I have no way to change this myself.
In the Alert email it’s just a link to the Wordfence plugin at the domain to unsubscribe and thats not possible because the site not exist.

    What can I do?

Hi @jonaslodin71, thanks for your message.

If the site was running Wordfence Central, you (or the current administrator) may need to sign into that account at wordfence.com to ensure the site is no longer connected as email alerts can be sent out from here.

If that doesn’t apply, I have also seen a site changing hosting provider/server before where the old data was still present in a folder on a web server somewhere. The site, even though not visible to the internet was still running and sending out Wordfence alerts because they come directly from your site rather than our servers. The previous host will need to be notified so that the content can be fully deleted. If you haven’t changed hosts, the issue will be related to WordPress or WP Cron still executing somewhere – possibly clearing server caches could also help if the WordPress installation files seem to be fully removed.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.
