    Our website has crashed and I can’t get anything to work on it. When I click on plug-ins on WordPress, it comes back with telling me I have none installed (not true). Nothing is accessible on the website. I tried to manually upload the plugin and I get a json syntax error, so I can’t upload anything.

    Here is the error –

    Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function feedthemsocial\updater_init::__construct(), 0 passed in /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/feed-them.php on line 121 and exactly 1 expected in /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/updater/updater-check-init.php:70 Stack trace: #0 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/feed-them.php(121): feedthemsocial\updater_init->__construct() #1 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/feed-them.php(572): Feed_Them_Social::instance() #2 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/feed-them.php(576): feed_them_social() #3 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-settings.php(447): include_once(‘/home2/bloomjo0…’) #4 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-config.php(90): require_once(‘/home2/bloomjo0…’) #5 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/home2/bloomjo0…’) #6 /home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once(‘/home in?/home2/bloomjo0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/updater/updater-check-init.php?on line?70

    Truly apologize for the trouble here. Please delete the old version of the plugin, that should bring your site back up. Then you can proceed to install the latest version. You must be running at least PHP 7.0. Let me know if that helps.

    When I log into WordPress to edit the page, it shows that no plugins are installed. I know that we do have them installed, but it’s not getting any data from the site. It doesn’t even show users associated with the site, pages that have been created, etc. How else can I delete the plugin? And how can I update the PHP?

    Hi @tomszewczyk,

    In the Plugins panel of your site’s WordPress dashboard, if no plugins are installed, click the “Add New” button and search for Feed Them Social”, then install and activate our plugin. Which should be FTS version 4.0.2.

    If FTS is in your plugins panel, then delete and re-install.

    As for updating the PHP, you may have to contact your webhost in order to do this. FTS 4.0 requires a minimum version of PHP 7. We recommend any PHP version between 7 and 8.0.26.

    After deleting and reinstall, below is what is happening.

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in?/home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/metabox/metabox-functions-class.php?on line?836

    Please include your system info (FT Social > System Info). If you can, revert to FTS 3.0.2. We can provide a link for that when you email our support.
