Cant update pages

  • Hi I cant update pages or products. It comes up with the following error:
    Not Acceptable

    An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server.

    If you are the owner of the website and are experiencing this issue for the first time, please call Technical Support on

    Recent changes made that may have caused issue?:

    FS Secure Contact Form (updated)
    WP Optimize (installed and deleted some stored data)
    Estro Slider (installed and using on homepage)
    Suffusion Theme (minify CSS turned on and Auto-generate the CSS and print it in the HTML source turned on)

    I deactivated all the plug ins above with no luck

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks and renaming your WordPress root .htaccess file. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

    Everything is working fine now :). Made no changes!

    Bit strange, do you think the site was being attacked by bots or something?
