Are you using the latest version of WooCommerce?

Please share the following information for further investigation:

1. System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
2. Fatal Error Log: A copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

I understand that you are receiving the error message above when updating a product on your site.

Can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

This above error occurs when your website runs out of memory while trying to perform a task. This being said, can you see if increasing your WordPress memory limit resolves the issue?

Below are some methods to try if you would like to do this on your own, alternatively you could reach out to your host provider to do this for you:

Edit your wp-config.php file
Add this to the top, before the line that says, “Happy Blogging”:

define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1024M’);

Edit your PHP.ini file
If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
If your line shows 64M try 256M:

memory_limit = 256M ;?Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

Edit your .htaccess file
If you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:

php_value memory_limit 256M

We totally understand this.

For us to check if this is being caused by the PHP version on your site, I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

Hi, that didn’t worked but some suggested this that worked.

A workaround to prevent this is to replace the /woocommerce/src/Admin/RemoteInboxNotifications/StoredStateSetupForProducts.php line 119 from:

$stored_state = RemoteInboxNotificationsEngine::get_stored_state();

to

$stored_state = (object) RemoteInboxNotificationsEngine::get_stored_state();
