• I’m having a problem when I go to my cart and try to increase the quantity of a product. When I click to increase the quantity on an item it’s not updating. The cart gets a white transparency over it and a circle spins as if it’s updating but then the quantity winds up staying the same. It does this automatically so you don’t have the ability to click the “Update Cart” button even though it’s there.

I have both WPC Fly Cart for WooCommerce and WPC AJAX Add to Cart for WooCommerce plugins installed. When I disable WPC Fly Cart for WooCommerce then it works properly by not automatically trying to update the quantity. I have to click on the “Update Cart” button to update it and it does correctly update the quantity.

I need the Fly Cart for customers to be able to increase their product quantity without having to go to the product page so I don’t want to disable it. Right now I’m using a short code to bring all products of a particular category onto one shop page (https://sarakepskitchen.com/individual-meal-prep/). I love the Fly Cart so people don’t have to go to each product’s page in order to select the quantity. Without the plugin they would need to do that, or go to the cart page to increase it, but that would cause confusion and extra steps. I don’t want to make it harder for people to buy more than one item.

Btw, ordering on the website for anything except gift cards is shutdown over the weekend in order to update the menu so products can not be added to the cart.

Thank you for your time in helping me solve this.

    Hi @emilydesigns ,

I checked your site and the quantity was updated properly and automatically when I clicked on the plus and minus buttons: https://prnt.sc/xtSJqZzyXss-.

This is probably a conflict between our plugin and the theme you are using. You can check the theme settings and try to disable the vertical quantity buttons, keep the horizontal ones.

Or you can kindly consider changing to a new theme, for example, any of our WPC themes here so that they can work with Fly Cart properly: https://profiles.www.ads-software.com/wpclever/#content-themes or any other standard, WooCommerce specialized theme.

    Best regards.

Thank you for responding. Those arrows do work so that’s not the problem. If you go to the Cart page you cannot increase the quantity. That’s where the issue is if I have the fly cart plugin activated.

    Hi @emilydesigns ,

I have inspected for a while on your site. It seems that there was a conflict in the JS between our plugin and your theme. The information cannot be updated automatically on the cart page. It has the “update_totals_on_change” enabled for your cart, but something seem to hold back the data saved in our Fly Cart popup.

You can go to WPClever >> Fly Cart and choose Yes for the “Reload the cart” option then check again. This will be useful for the Fly Cart to work in sync with your cart page when caches are saved.

Next, you can also go to WPClever >> AJAX add to cart and choose “All” for the product types so the ajax can be properly reloaded for all product types on your site: https://prnt.sc/i4O6X4b9LkWX

If enabling this won’t help, I’m not sure what can be done about this. We will need further inspection with the theme you are using in order to help. However, we are not allowed to inspect further in the backend on this public forum due to some security and privacy policies.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer any further instructions but to recommend that you try another theme to see if our plugins can work properly on that.

    Best regards.

I went to WPClever >> Fly Cart >> “Reload the cart” and it was already set to Yes.

I added “All” in the AJAX add to cart settings and it’s still not working.

I don’t know why “Update cart” is grayed out after I change the quantity of an item. If it would allow me to manually update it by clicking the button then it would probably work properly.

I’m using the Sinatra theme which I think has been abandoned. I was going to switch to another theme but I’d have to rebuild my entire website and don’t have that kind of time right now.

Hello! I just noticed that if I put in a quantity of 2 items and click Add to Cart that it won’t add them so I just update it to the quantity that I want in the fly cart, but if I do it again with another item then it does add multiple quantities of a product. And if I go to add 2+ quantity of a different item, it works. So for some reason it’s only not working on the first try. The cart still won’t update properly though.

    Hi @emilydesigns ,

It seems that the theme or template you are using is conflicting with our plugin. Some elements might not work well at first and only works after reloading some time.

If you want to test it further, you can kindly consider changing the theme to another WooCommerce specialized theme. That is the only advice I can give for your case, to be honest.

    Best regards.
