    This is my big problem: in the WP installed plugins page one can read:

    WP User Frontend

    Version 2.5.3 | By Tareq Hasan | View details
    There is a new version of WP User Frontend available. View version 2.5.4 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.

    I need to update to 2.5.4, because it fixed a bug when saving taxonomies which is annoying me, but I cannot update! If I try, the updating is denegate. WHY?

    I am scared of deleting the plugin and try loading the new version directly from your site: am I going to lose all my settings? If I export my forms from the old version, would them be correctly imported with new version? Are my product attributes and categories be recognized correctly? (Please, pay attention to my several questions).

    Note. I’m using DIVI theme, I have asked them too: no solution yet.

    I’m having the same problem.
    First I downloaded version 2.5.4 from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-user-frontend.zip
    Then unzipped it and uploaded into my plugins folder, installed it but as soon as I press Activate button I got a fatal error.
    So, I’m using version 2.5.3 again and WP User Frontend Pro 2.5.

    Would you please help us?

    If you want to update to the latest version of WP User Frontend free & pro plugin then follow the instructions given here.

    1. Deactivate and delete existing WP User Frontend (both free & pro) plugins from your site.

    2. Download the latest version (2.5.4) of pro plugin from your weDevs account.

    3. Install & activate it

    4. Now it will prompt you to install the free version of WP User Frontend plugin. Install & activate it.

    This solution is for both of you guys. @susanalanguidey, you will get the fatal error fixed.

    @rene-rene, after deleting the existing WPUF versions you will not lose any data as it will just delete the plugin source files, not any data from the database. So, you can install the new versions without any issue.

    I’ll let you know when the indicated process is completed.
    I have not used the WPUF license key because I am developing in a temporal site, I should first migrate to the definitive server.

    Hello,
    I followed the steps you gave us. I got basic WPUF version 2.5.5, and WPUF pro 2.5.4
    Everything works fine!

    WPUF is working fine, nonetheless I am getting this message:
    WP User Frontend Pro Activation Error: cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 3000 milliseconds
