Can’t update Website URL in my WP.org profile

    Hello,
    I am trying to update my WP.org profile. Updates to the email address and nickname fields worked fine but I can’t seem to update the Website URL field. I get the following error.

    There was a problem updating some of your profile information. Please try again.

    I have logged out & back in and also tried a different browser with no success.

    I did a little research and found that at least two other similar posts were resolved when a moderator addressed an issue with Akismet. (…?)

    It was indeed Akismet. I’ve given it a bit of a kick, so it should be good for you to update it for a while.

    Try it now. Akismet was throwing complaints, and I have corrected it for the time being. It should allow updates now.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.
