Can’t update WooCommerce database

    Hello, I’m using WooCommerce 3.5.3, but the database version is still 3.4.7. I tried to update it from Status -> Tools -> Update database, but nothing happens. It just says that the database update is scheduled to be executed in background, but it actually doesn’t, even after a few days. There is absolutely nothing in the logs.

    Often this is caused by conflicts from third-party themes or plugins.

    I would recommend making a staging site copy of your site. Then on the staging site, try switching to the default Twenty Nineteen or Storefront theme. As well disable ALL plugins, except for WooCommerce.

    Once that is done try running the database update. If it works you can make a backup of your live site and then go through the same steps to ensure the update runs properly.
