Can’t Upload Big Vido File

  • I’m having an issue uploading a big video file. I have been able to use the uploader to upload a 5 mb video file, but when I try to upload an 8 mb video file I simply get an error which states…

    This script was not meant to be called directly

    Does anyone know what’s happening? My phpinfo says…
    upload_max_filesize 32M 16M

    for local and master respectivly. Please help.

    I’m using the filosofo-old-style-upload plugin. Works well in general, but I was not abele to upload a video file sized 4.5 Mb.

    I then changed my upload_max_filesize in php.ini from 2M to 100M (then restarted Apache). This allowed me to upload the file, however I can not upload the file when exported to 8.6Mb. I do not get any error messages at all, the upload page simply reloads, and the information in the File field is left empty.

    The file does not exceed the sizelimit given in the WP Options.

    Any clues?

    at my site https://www.scarfaceblog.com I upload big movie files at times but I don’t go in wp to upload because they have a limit of size, so I make a sub-domain called videos and it goes into there and I just upload a video in my ftp program.

    You also have to increase the size of post_max_size in php.ini.
