• We are having issues with our Images Uploading to our media. We keep getting an HTTP error. We can see in the image library where it has tried to upload but hasn’t completed. Here are the things we have tried.

    1. Calling our hosting company. They said everything is fine on their end and it’s a WordPress issue.
    2. Changing the format of the image. From jpeg-png, or from png-jpeg. This works sometimes.
    3. Resizing the image. We don’t use large images, but sometimes resizing works.
    4. Renaming the image, sometimes this works. but less and less.
    5. Checking the image path in settings, it is. “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”
    6. Having someone else try. We work as a team on the site across the USA, sometimes if one of us can’t get them to load, someone else can.

Our workaround above or working less and less and we are getting very frustrated. We aren’t sure what to do next.

    Please advice! Thanks.

    How do I do that?

use either an ftp program or the server’s cpanel file manager. in either method you should be able to navigate to the uploads folder of the wordpress installation and right click it to view the folder’s permissions. it should be set to 755 to the best of my knowledge…

I called my hosting site. We check the permissions of the uploads folder and all was good. They had me install a plug-in and Optimize all my images. I did that also, no I have 0 un- optimized images, however the problem persists and is getting much worse. Does anyone know how I can get my images to upload to the media file.

I am having the same problem, but a bit worse. I am using the Responsive Mobile theme from Cyberchimps. Funny thing is, the only way I have found to upload images is to temporarily switch to the TwentySixteen theme – upload images works great. Then switch back to my usual theme. I love the Responsive Mobile theme and have designed the site around it so I am living with this workaround for now.

I’m running Sahifa Version: 5.4.0, I’ve tried lots of work arounds, but not that one. There has got to be a better workaround.
