cant upload images

  • I cant upload any images to my posts. i get the following message once i have chosen my file and hit the upload button

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/novel/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads

    anyone else have this problem?

  • It doesn’t work for me either. I just upload images via cpanel’s upload feature or ftp.

    this sounds like a linux issue, the dir dosn’t have write access, I got something like that as well, so I gave the dir a 666 or it may have been a 777 not sure which, as I did not use chmod to do it.

    i have tried to change the permissions on the flders but it still cant move the uploaded file to the folder. all of the folders at the moment is 777,

    guys any solutions on this at all? whats stoping me uploading and how do i fix it?

    guys what you need to do is just change the wp-content to 777.

    it works fine for me, i can upload images to it now
