Can't upload images – Filesystem permissions error?

  • Hello – just downloaded the plugin and tried to create my first gallery. Upon uploading images I get this error:

    “Could not write to file. Please check filesystem permissions. Filename: /var/www/vhosts/fiddlesticks.ca/httpdocs/wp-content/gallery/text-pix. 0 images were uploaded”

    I’ve had no problems uploading anything to our server so far – is this something our web administrator has to do? (I have access to the server files as well, but am not strong in that kind of thing!)

    Yes he can do, or he can explain to you what to do, or you can ask to your provider since it’s a server configuration, or you can read here
